Anna Maria is surrounded by water making it one of the best places for watersport enthusiasts. You can take a birds eye view Parasailing, get a little crazy and Jet Ski, or take a leisure Sunset, Dolphin or Eco Tour. The Island and surrounding area have natural habitat for every outdoor fanatic to enjoy, whether you explore along the shoreline or stroll the nature preserves you are bound to encounter some of Florida’s wildlife! Florida Nature

There are several Preserves on Anna Maria Island, but Robinson Preserve – just off the island is the most visited. Nearby is the Palma Sola Botanical Park that consists of 10 acres and showcases collections of rare palms, fruits, flowering trees, and other subtropical plants, and there is a cafe and small nursery on site.


Fishing Charters and Tours

Take a boat trip to Egmont Key located at the mouth of Tampa Bay, hire a captain and catch dinner, take a dolphin tour and watch them jump, experience a stunning sunset, or just take a relaxing cruise around Anna Maria Island and learn about our habitat!


Water Activities

Being surrounded by water there are plenty of water activities for all ages. One of the most popular is Stand-up Paddleboarding and SUP Yoga, but you can choose to go Parasailing, rent Jet Skis, rent a Kayak or Canoe and even take a guided eco tour.


Sports

We have many sports venues from NFL, NHL, MLB Spring Training, and plenty of Golf Courses to choose from. Of course some are seasonal, so if you are a big sports fan check your calendars.
